I did some internet researh (Hi, my name is Dennise and I am a Google junkie) and apparently what I have is trigger thumb and trigger finger (ring finger right hand). Might be a repetitive stress injury, might not. I have already had carpal tunnel release surgery on that hand and people with carpal tunnel are more likely to have Trigger Thumb than the population at large.
